Cervical mucus is a jelly-like substance secreted through tiny glands in the cervix. Its job is to provide a protective and favorable environment for sperm in their journey up the cervix and into the fallopian tubes towards the egg. Sperm can survive for up to three days from intercourse, provided the cervical mucus is of sufficient quality.

I also suffer from acne and I have tried a lot of stuff, 1)antibitoics(NO ONE should be taking antibiotics unless absolutely necessary....these kill the good bacteria in your gut and lead to all sorts of problems including more acne in the long run), 2)birth control(also a bad decision, you may find it works for you, but you are messing with your hormones using drugs, also birth control kills that good gut bacteria again), 3)expensive dermatologist topicals- these worked for me, but these are all chemicals, and plus, I can't afford them anymore.
What is actually helping my acne? DIET! Elmination of processed foods and sugar, except for honey. LOTS of fresh fruits and veggies. Diet can actually balance your hormones naturally. I am also taking a FLAX oil blend, and I have also heard that FISH oil is very beneficial to acne. I also take PROBIOTICS. A friend of mine had horrible acne, she started taking acidophillis pills every day and her acne COMPLETELY cleared up. It took her a few months, and taking 5 a day, but it worked. This all goes back to getting the good bacteria in your body and killing the pathogenic bacteria, which many of us have in abundance.
Acne is a sign that something is imbalanced in your body. Everything starts with the gut. Be careful about what you put in your body, and you will heal your acne from within. This is my own quest, and while I am not there yet, I am completely confident that I will get there.
For now, to deal with the acne that I have, I use ACNEXUS, which is all natural, no chemicals. Lots of essential oils. It is an acne scrub. I like it a lot, it is very gentle and soothing, and then I use a spot treatment called "on the spot" which is also all natural. It works wonders for acne that is just developing...I put it on immediately when I feel a zit forming and it goes away. If a zit already hits the surface, it doesn't go away immediately, but it does speed up the healing process. I also use Witch Hazel and Hydrogen Peroxide(only after a bad breakout). I haven't been doing my diet long, but I will let you know my results once I am further into it. I have already seen some progress. Good luck to you!

When you take your shower/bath make sure to use LOTS of soap
This will help dry out the skin some so there are less oils and therefor less stuff to clog up skin
I am not entirely sure about this but . . well . . it seems like it would work right?
If it is on your face take a hand towel and rub soap and water into it and use that to rub your face

Acne has nothing to do with the foods you eat. It is somewhat genetic, based on your skin, some have high oils in their skin and tend to get acne or more pimples. I have oily skin and have had acne issues my whole life, I am now 30 yr old and have started using proactive. It is a little pricey but has defiantly been helping me. If you can't afford it try one the new cheaper alternatives from walmart or target. They work as well but not quite as good. Just make sure to follow all the steps as instructed. there is a 3 step process you need to follow twice a day. Also be careful as it will bleach your clothes, pillows, sheets, etc. so use it in the morning and the afternoon, not right before bed. Hope it helps you, I know acne is a nightmare to have and does affect your life. Stay positive, try the proactive, try not to touch your face much since your hands transfer dirt and oils to your face, and don't pick at or pop your pimples it only makes them worse. good luck and hope I helped.

Hey I know you are worried about your acne,
With all those products on the market these days, they rarely work properly to help clear acne long term. Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Clearasil, Garnier Pure.. take your pick but the ultimate purpose of these companies are to make people believe their new 'miracle acne breakthroughs' and make money. It's basically salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide (peel or bleach.)
Foods you should stay away from are... umm... actually, you don't need to stay away from chocolate or lollies. Eat them in MODERATION MODERATION MODERATION,but they don't cause acne. It's just better on your conscience if you don't eat them. Drink water if you skin likes to turn red. Try having more fibre in your diet, excrete your wastes regularly (haha I don't know how else to put this politely).
The best acne cleansing item you can get for now is a good scrub (Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub), then benzoyl peroxide (Benzac) 2.5% cream/gel at night only.
However to prevent your acne from coming back long-term, you need to see your GP (dermatologists cost alot ...).
Those products I recommened are great from short term but they will eventually dry out your skin, making it red and scaly. Or, you might find that they dont clear pimples after a while.
See your GP, and ask for Differin gel or Retin-A cream. They are both retinoids (Vitamin A), which make your skin shed faster (less clogged pores, less bumps aka acne). You only have to dot a pea-sized amount to your affected areas every night. Works for the chest and back as well as the face. You skin may breakout more initially, but it's worth it if you wait and keep using it.
I would recommend oral antibiotics, except that they give you stomach aches occasionally and are harmful to use long-term. Other option include birth control (if you are female) and Accutane if you have severely disfiguring acne, which you can discuss with your GP.
If you use Retin-A or Differin (I like Differin better, less side effects but also more expensive), then stop using any harsh acne face washes. Switch to Cetaphil, or a really gentle cleanser.
What should you stop doing? Umm not much. Don't pick your pimples and try to feel good about youself :) LOTS of people have acne, so don't worry.
good luck
